2016 HIA Awards put Humphrey Homes’ in front yet again

3 Jan 2017

Awards just keep coming for Humphrey Homes with the combined architect-building practice once again recognised as winners by the Housing Industry Association with two prestigious awards.

For the second year running Humphrey Homes has been named the winner of the HIA Western Australian Professional Small Builder of the Year and the 2016 HIA Perth Residential Building Designer of the Year. Both awards were received for the stylish multi-generational home completed this year in Grovedale Road, Floreat.  In addition Humphrey Homes was named the HIA Western Australian Residential Building Designer of the Year.

Dean Humphrey said the awards were very satisfying for he and his team, particularly given the rigorous judging processes of the HIA.

“The fact is that no builder can hide anything during the HIA award judging,” he said.  “When experienced judges physically inspect each home the proof is in the pudding!

Mr Humphrey said the HIA Awards were a very reliable indicator for consumers as they showed the companies that were the best in the state and Australia. Homes that are not built to an immaculate level of quality simply don’t win these awards.

“Winning the HIA Awards shows that the builder takes a lot of pride in his work and is prepared for other builders to judge it against very strict criteria.  It also indicates that the owners are happy with their home and like their builder enough to have their private home judged and placed in the public arena.  For our team, this is the greatest tribute to our work.  Our client relationships and client satisfaction means everything to us.”
